Benefits

Instructions

Take one 600 mg capsule of D-chiro-inositol daily for each 130 pounds of body weight.

Try to take your DCI about 20mins before you eat.
Our bodies need the DCI to be ready to go to work when the sugar hits our blood, so it makes sense to take DCI before you introduce the sugars.

On the other hand, Tri Sense and Saw Palmetto/Milk Thistle are strong herbs and should NOT to be taken on an empty stomach.

We normally recommend two Saw Palmetto/Milk Thistle capsules per day with food.

We do not recommend taking more than one Tri Sense a day. Take with food also.

These are just suggestions to help you get the best out of the products.
As always, listen to your body and find what works
best for you and your lifestyle!

Here are some answers.

How does DCI help?

DCI is what is known as a secondary messenger in the insulin signaling process and is considered an insulin sensitizer.

When you eat food, sugar is extracted and goes into your blood. Your pancreas releases insulin in response to the sugar. The insulin tells the cells of your body to either burn the sugar for energy or to store it as fat for later.

As the sugar level goes down, the insulin level goes down as well. Insulin doesn't communicate directly with the cells, however. It communicates through a secondary messenger made out of DCI.

Is DCI safe and natural?

Yes, D-chiro-inositol (DCI) is a safe and healthy human metabolite. The Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA) defines D-chiro-inositol as a nutritional supplement because it is a natural human metabolite and it is taken orally.

Like all human metabolites, vitamins and minerals included, D-chiro-inositol (DCI) is completely safe and often beneficial when taken in appropriate amounts.

DCI is abundant in only a few foods, such as buckwheat farinetta, thus making it difficult to get substantial D-chiro-inositol from our diets.

What are the Saw Palmetto & Milk Thistle Precautions?

Precautions: DO NOT USE if breastfeeding or pregnant. This product contains herbal agents which should not be used by women who are breastfeeding, pregnant, or trying to become pregnant, unless directed by your physician.

This product contains herbal agents like can act similarly to hormones.

Also, Saw palmetto might slow blood clotting. Taking saw palmetto along with medications that also slow clotting might increase the chances of bruising and bleeding

I'm already taking Manganese - should I add Tri Sense??

Chiral Balance Tri Sense contains 2mg of Manganese Citrate. The National Institute of Health advises against more than 11 milligrams of manganese per day for adults.

Most daily multivitamins contain about 2 milligrams, including our Women's Formula AM+PM. So if you were to take both Tri Sense and Women's Formula AM+PM you would be getting 4mgs of Manganese daily - which is well below the Tolerable Upper Intake Levels (UL).

If you are getting manganese from other supplements as well, do the math and make sure you are within the the recommended range.
